I just moved into my new house and the previous owner didnt get a fridge out. Instead he scheduled Mr. Mover to remove it after I closed on the house. As I didnt have any other options I let them in to take it. First one of the movers proceeded to start casing the place, asking questions about the size, looking around, and then when he saw we didnt have anything moved in yet he had the audacity to suggest taking the one item we had which was a plate of cookies.
We hired them to move a piano. I think if we hadn't prepaid they wouldn't have moved it. We sent pictures and informed them of the size of it and pictures of the location it was taken out of and put into. They sent two guys for a piano, two. One was old and overweight. Getting it out wasn't difficult but it took them 2 hours to get it in with lots of swearing. They almost hit the neighbors car with the truck. They had time to call for additional help but didn't. They called their boss to complain and he denied ever getting the pictures. At the end they had the audacity to say "don't call us again". I would never ask these folks to move anything for me again. This is their job, how could they be so drastically unprepared?
These guys are pros. Moved us out of one house in the morning and into another house in the afternoon. It was raining on our moving day, which made everything miserable. They put blankets down over carpeted and hardwood floors, used runners on staircases, and used shrink wrap and padding on furniture. They are willing to move anything, even the bulkiest items, anywhere you like within the house. In a nutshell, they are professional, careful, trustworthy and affordable. We would absolutely use again and will highly recommend to others.
We hired this company to load our rental van for a 90 mile move. The two men were prompt, efficient, courteous, and did an excellent job loading our truck. The movers that we hired 6 days later to unload the van were very complimentary about the way the truck was packed. This was an affordable solution for our personal move. The job Mr. Mover did exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a job well done.
For the move itself one of the movers suggested removing the front door while the other said it would be fine. You guessed it... they left it on and in the process they proceeded to put a golf ball size hole facing the street into my door and then started indicating that it is an old door and needed replaced anyway... very unprofessional in my opinion. 4 days later I get a call from their office telling me that I can expect someone to come out again to put wood putty into the hole and try to patch it which is something that my wife and I had already done as a stop gap with the cold winter chills coming on us already. If the company wants to do right, they should offer financial restitution and not offer to try and do a patch job when they are not professional enough to do the job they claim to be good at (moving things) without causing these problems. Needless to say, I would never recommend this company due to the relatively poor attitudes, the general feeling that they will steal from you if left unsupervised long enough, and their general lack of respect for my property.
We hired Mr. Mover because they were recommended by a friend. They moved all the large furniture from our old house to new, including our platform king sized bed. I think they were professional in that they went over all the items with me beforehand and when we got to the new place they went over where everything was to go. The price was reasonable too. The issue we had came to the disassembling and reassembling of our bed. After it was reassembled and they had left, we noticed that evening that the base was not assembled correctly. I called Mr Mover back the next day and spoke with the manager to explain what happened. They were apprehensive to come back and fix it, but eventually the moving team we had came back to fix it. They were polite about it and acted as though they knew they had assembled it incorrectly in the first place. Fine. They fixed it and left. Later that evening we found that they decided not to finish reattaching the platform to the bed. Just laziness. All in all it was an okay experience, nothing got damaged, just make sure you check everything over if you are having anything reassembled.
