Much cleaner inside and out than other motel 6s. The staff are more friendly and accomodating too. I would bring family here.
The mini fridge didn't work at all, and the mattress was old and very hard and you could feel the springs through it. so not a good night sleep at all. but the room was clean and everything else was fine.
I didn't actually stay here, but instead stopped by to visit a friend who was in town. I walked in and started to make my way to the room, when a man called out to me and asked if he could see my room key. I told him I was visiting, and he asked the room number. The man was very rude, was wearing what appeared to be sweat pants, and stated that he was the owner. While the room was clean and appeared comfortable, I was extremely taken aback at the rudeness and unprofessional demeanor of the 'owner'. I have already suggested that my friend find another place to stay going forward, and I will NEVER give this company my business
Was granted late checkout at 1pm then received a call at noon on my way back from appt saying that my checkout was late and i am being chatged 10 bucks for every hour i am not gone. Had to sort that out. They did not charge me. Thankyou to the nice clerk at the desk on days for being understanding.
They do charge 10 dollars for dogs over 50 lb. I think next time ill say no dog and bring her anyway. Shes too quiet for anyone to notice.
The refrigerator and microwave worked fine. Not enough towels were provided. Clean towels often appeared stained as though they had been used to mop up coffee. The floor was not cleaned during my stay, necessitating the use of shoes so our feet didn't get filthy.
The room was quiet. Beds fairly comfortable. Linens were not changed during an 8-day stay, despite information provided that they would be changed every 3-days. Coffee in the morning was good but ran out often and staff were not present to make more.
I made a reservation 2 days prior of arrival. They only offer coffee, but Rates are reasonable and seemed to be clean. My husband is 60 so the service of Motel 6 said he will get the senior rate.
Unfortunately for some reason the alarm was tripped at 5 am. It sounds like a semi truck horn being blown in your face. It was one consistent horn sound for over 15 seconds straight. Woke me up so abruptly that my body actually involuntarily jumped out of bed and raised my self up in horror at the noise. I was relieved when it stopped. Only to be woken again by it a few minutes later. I checked in late and had to get up early so needless to say this did not help. I asked front desk about it all they could do was tell me sorry it wont happen again they didnt know why.
I thought someone was outside blowibg their horn on purpose but it was too loud to be outside sounded like it was in my room. Wasnt offered any type of reconciliation for this. Also had to ask for a late checkout since i checked in late and had a morning appointment so i didnt want to load all my stuff up and checkout when i woke up i wanted to do so after my appointment so i could have a pittle less stress.
I called to see about checking in early before 2pm and he said it would be an extra charge. No other hotel that we have stayed in has ever done that and we have usually checked in before noon at most nice hotels. So we arrived after 2:30pm. The guy maybe owner/manager did not seem very pleasant. He was very short when asked a question. It was nice there was no extra charge for having our little dog though. We checked out the next day before 11am. I received the receipt and said where is the senior rate..the guy said oh I was not aware of the discounted rate. So I showed him my confirm email. His attitude went from nice to not so nice and gave the discounted rate. This hotel is near our daughters home so we would like to stay there again, but if the same people that are there now running the place..we will go back to Country inn & Suites..it is a few more miles from our daughters, but it will be worth it.
